Created in 1996, Astier de Villatte is a multifaceted brand: an artisanal ceramics workshop in Paris, the only one of its kind, that revives and modernizes the tradition of the 18th century Parisian manufactures, and has updated the ancient art of stamping.
A typographic printing press in the suburbs of Paris, the last of its kind in France (and one of the last in the world) that prints books using lead typesetting. A publishing house, with its two first publications: the eccentric city guide Ma Vie à Paris, and the art book Drawings with poly-talented artist Lou Doillon. A fragrance workshop where are created – in collaboration with exceptional noses – colognes, balms, incenses, erasers, and a whole collection of scented candles themed around the idea of an olfactory world tour.
Two Parisian stores, on rue Saint-Honoré and on rue de Tournon, where all the brand’s creations are presented, including titanium cutlery, borosilicate glasses, notebooks with tiled pattern printed on a typographic press, as well as a thousand and one curiosities from the four corners of the earth.
