After studying at Studio Berçot in Paris, she joined Balenciaga alongside Nicolas Ghesquière. During nine years, she worked on the ready-to-wear collections and piloted the launch of Balenciaga's jewelry line. Since 2012, Charlotte Chesnais has consulted with several designers including Kenzo, Mayiet, Maison Kitsuné as well as Paco Rabanne, whom she still collaborates with on their leather goods and jewelry.
In 2015, Charlotte Chesnais launched her own eponymous brand and was rewarded by the prestigious ANDAM Fashion accessories prize. This reward marks her first collection, a mix of graphic and fluid lines, re-designed basics and abstract shapes creating a set of little sculptures. The pieces are handmade in France by the best ateliers and are available in silver and vermeil.
