Autumn Winter 2022 collection
"Light shadow of geometric patterns: squares on the back of the heritage coat like a pulverised sheet or on the folded T-shirt; triangles hanging from the neck or bra of the dresses; circles on the back of coats, tops or dresses. As always, Courreges' archetypal geometric shapes are inserted. The detail of the swallow, the tubular collars and - for the first time - the rhombus, made from the assembly of four squares with blunt corners. In series, the primitive forms proliferate while becoming discreet - as if absorbed by the new Courreges. More offensive, more suggestive too. The shoes announce a statement. Bumpers, stretched heels and pointed toes: the age of innocence is over.
A collection that exists only through oppositions: between shadow and light, archetype and conquest, innocence and intensity."
